Digital maturity check for laboratories
and other conformity assessment bodies (CABs)

With our free check, you receive a well-founded and systematic assessment of your organization’s level of digitalization.

How digital is my laboratory or CAB?

Your answers to questions across 7 critical dimensions of digital transformation enable a holistic view of your transformation status. The following dimensions are analyzed:

  • Strategy
  • Information Technology & Process Digitalization
  • Customers
  • Culture and Expertise
  • Organization and Change Management
  • Innovation
  • Collaboration

The maturity check was developed as part of a research project by the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), TU Berlin, Fraunhofer ISI, and the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, to assess the state of digital transformation in the global conformity assessment industry. Background information and results from the 15 participating countries can be found at qi-fokus.de.

As part of the QI-Digital initiative (www.qi-digital.de), the maturity check serves as a sustainable contribution to digital transformation in the conformity assessment sector.

Report

After completing the survey, you will automatically receive a detailed results report along with tailored recommendations for further development, based on the digital maturity level of your organization.

The evaluation is based on your self-assessment. There are no right or wrong answers. If you're unsure, an approximate estimate is sufficient.

If you have implemented development measures, it's worthwhile to take the check again so you can track and make visible the progress of your digital transformation. This helps you to keep an eye on your organization’s development at all times.

Data Privacy and Usage

Participation is completely anonymous. By participating, you agree that we may use your (anonymous) results to compile an annual report. These data help us determine the yearly average and better understand long-term developments.
